Every Family's Journey Is Unique
Every child grows, learns, communicates, and engages with the world in their own unique way. Along the journey, families may encounter questions, transitions, or challenges that leave them wondering what steps to take next.
Whether you are preparing for preschool, navigating school expectations, seeking greater understanding of your child's development, or looking for practical strategies to support everyday life, DAKXS provides collaborative consultation designed to strengthen family confidence and support meaningful participation across home, school, and community environments.
What Is the Developmental Consultation & Parent Coaching Program™?
Developmental Consultation is a collaborative process that helps families better understand their child's strengths, identify areas where additional support may be helpful, and develop practical strategies that promote participation across everyday environments.
Rather than focusing only on challenges, the consultation process considers the whole child within the context of their family, relationships, culture, school, and community.
Consultation is individualized, family-centered, and designed to strengthen family capacity while supporting children's growth and participation in meaningful daily activities.

What to Expect
Every family's journey is unique, and consultation is tailored to your child's strengths, your family's priorities, and your goals. While each experience is individualized, families can generally expect the following process:

Step 2: Collaborative Planning
Together, we develop an individualized consultation plan that reflects your family's priorities, available supports, and desired outcomes.
Step 3: Developmental Consultation & Parent Coaching
Through collaborative consultation sessions, families receive practical guidance, developmental education, individualized strategies, and coaching designed to strengthen participation across home, school, and community environments.
Step 4: Ongoing Recommendations & Support
As consultation progresses, recommendations are refined, resources are shared, and strategies are adjusted to meet your child's and family's evolving needs.
Step 5: Program Completion & Next Steps
At the conclusion of services, families receive a Program Completion Summary™ outlining the consultation process, progress made, key recommendations, and suggested next steps to support continued growth and success.
